I am a huge sea turtle lover. This is a small piece of jewelry and I did not expect too much for the $42 I spent on it. However, I am pleasantly surprised by the shine, design, and the sparkly little diamonds. I purchased the white gold version. The cutout on the turtle is reminiscent of the Plumeria - which is the state flower of Hawaii. The chain is gossamer thin - but seems sturdy enough. It loops through the bail which is the back of one of the flippers - a good design so the pendent hangs well. I was looking for a very delicate necklace to wear every day and this fits the bill. Rarely am I this happy with Internet purchased jewelry :)

This is a beautiful piece, but Amazon has fail to show it next a dime to show it's real size. Once you know the real size and you like it. I would recommend it for adding to other trinkets.

My nickname growing up was "Turtle"; I bought the necklace, I suppose, as a reminder of my younger self, and I love it. Yes, it is subtle, but I like the delicacy of it. It's beautifully crafted, a perfect gift for any age. I really am glad I bought this. It's one of the few pieces of jewelry I keep on 24/7.
